FRG-20 - Fiber Laser Marker

Automated Laser is pleased to introduce our new 20 watt turnkey fiber laser marking system. Sharing the same wavelength as Nd:YAG, but at half the cost, fiber lasers excel at part marking metals, plastics, ceramics, and many other materials. Our fiber laser features a small remote head giving you the flexibility to mount the laser in confined spaces, at any angle, up to 6 feet away from the control enclosure.

Why is the FRG-20 your best marking value?

Fast ROI. The FRG-20 lasers do the job of traditional laser marking solutions at a significantly lower cost than that of past laser options. Because Automated Laser’s FRG-20 fiber laser does away with all the complexities of higher maintenance marking systems, they are the most reliable, longest life and lowest operational cost of any other laser marking method. Fiber lasers require no consumables, no internal cleaning, and no alignments. All this adds up to more money in your bottom line.

Marking Versatility. Fiber lasers excel at marking the widest range of materials by virtue of simple programmable speed or power settings. Almost any material including: metals, plastics, ceramics, glass, PCB's, silicon, and many more can be easily marked. Up to 300 characterless per second, bar coding, graphics, and automated date stamp or serialization all add up to the maximum marking versatility.

Ease of Use. Each FRG-20 Series laser marking systems are fully programmable and includes simple to use but feature rich Autolase® Windows® based software, offering exceptional flexibility and ease of use in production printing formats and setups. The latest designed, self-contained internal operating system controls the FRG-20 markers without additional external computers or expensive optional support devices.

Efficiency. Power efficiency is important in determining long term operating costs. While traditional Nd:YAG lasers are around 2-3% efficient, fiber lasers are around 50% efficient. This means a huge reduction in power consumption and a lower operating cost.

Quality. With virtually no wear items or moving parts and a laser diode life exceeding 250,000 operating hours, the FRG-20 is an exceptional production option. The FRG-20 does not stop with just the quality inside, the FRG-20 provides more consistency mark-to-mark than other marking options.

Size. The FRG-20 is compact and lightweight and easy to install from a lean cell to a fully automated production line.

Fiber lasers excel at marking non-organic and non-transparent materials, including: metals, plastics, ceramics, PCB's, silicon, and many more.
